Connect your SP–1

Dual Deck 0.3 mirrors physical fader positions, button holds and releases, the wheel, and all eight lights. Earlier versions mirror mixer settings only.

    Let the song upload finish.Only one app can use the USB connection at a time. Close other SP–1 connections.

    Power on normally.Keep USB connected and hold FUNCTION for 1.5 seconds if the player is off. Dual Deck does not use bootloader mode for this.

    Connect your player below.Select SP–1 Dual Deck. If USB is unavailable in this browser, open the site in Chrome or Edge.

FUNCTION switches the deck shown here. Move faders through their saved level to pick them up. With Dual Deck 0.3, “Listen here” plays the device’s live stereo mix and shows its waveform. Both deck progress bars use device playback positions. USB and browser audio add some delay.

Original monitor mode is for compatible older firmware in its control or bootloader mode. Keep Dual Deck selected for this custom firmware.

Quick guide

Four layers.
One little instrument.

01 / LoadDrop in a song, then choose Separate into 4 stems. Or bring four existing stems.

02 / PlayPress the play key on the player or hit Space. The studio demo is an original synth loop.

03 / MixDrag a 3D fader or use the sliders. Track buttons mute. S isolates a stem.

04 / ExploreDrag to see every side, or choose a view below the player. Scroll to zoom. Click the upper or lower half of the side wheel to change pitch.

Stem separation runs locally and can take several minutes. Keep this tab open. Stop it at any time with Cancel.

Import stems

Bring all four layers.

Choose one file for each track. They start together, aligned at the beginning.

At least one stem is required. Empty tracks stay silent.

for the browser.

A reference-based 3D recreation of the Teenage Engineering SP–1. Dimensions and finish are approximate; this is not a factory CAD model or official firmware emulator.

Built with Three.js, Web Audio, ONNX Runtime, and Meta’s HT-Demucs model. Music is processed on your own device.
